TRIMESTER 2 COURTESY AWARD WINNERS

Submitted by:  Mrs. McCrary

Each trimester, teachers choose two boys and two girls from each grade as courtesy award winners.  The vote has to be unanimous among the teachers, and they base their choice on how courteous and helpful the students are to the staff and to their fellow peers.

In short, the recipients are a pleasure to have in class and serve as a great example for other BCMS students.  Trimester 2 courtesy award winners are:

  • 6th Grade: Brandon Hashman, Gage Mull, Mairi Shaw, Jenna Boknecht
  • 7th Grade: Smith Hackman, Pierson Wheeler, Trinity Acton, Liberty Wilkins
  • 8th Grade: Rylee Harris, Emilee Ault, Logan Geswein, Hayden Voss
WASHINGTON, D.C.

Those registered students “on target” to participate (both in terms of trip criteria and financial obligation) will be receiving information this Thursday (March 5th) as it pertains to:

1) General trip information and expectations for student conduct as “guests” to Seymour Middle School while on the trip,

2) An information sheet as to “Things to Pack and Carry on the Bus,” and . . .

3) A “Student Medical Release Form” from our touring company Brightspark (the “Student Medical Release Form” information is required for trip participation)

PLEASE NOTE:  The “Student Medical Release Form” information will be due from participating students no later than Thursday, March 19th.

Other important deadline dates of note:

1)  The final criteria check will occur at the end of the 10th level review period, Friday, April 3rd.

2)  The final payment date, for any outstanding trip balances, is Monday, March 16th.

3)  Mandatory D.C. Departure Parent Information Meeting:  Wednesday, May 6th; 5PM in the SEYMOUR MIDDLE SCHOOL gymnasium.  (Please be planning now to attend this required final pre-departure meeting.)
