Local gov stock 01

City of Greensburg recently issued the following announcement.

MAYOR'S WELCOME

We are glad you are visiting our Greensburg website.

The Tower Tree City is the county seat of Decatur County, surrounded by communities filled with people proud to live in southeastern Indiana. Greensburg is known for its friendliness and the opportunity for families to walk around the block feeling secure and happy.

Part of a Decatur County farm family, Josh is a graduate of Greensburg High School and Ball State University. Throughout his education, he has focused on developing his leadership skills, seeking advice from admired professionals and educating others about the importance of civic involvement.

Shortly after graduation from Ball State, Josh began his career working for the State of Indiana to improve the lives of Hoosiers. He was the voice for communications focused on health and wellness initiatives for the 60,000+ people covered by state employee insurance plans. Josh also served as the Attorney General's Drug Abuse Task Force Coordinator where he worked with healthcare, mental health, non-profit and law enforcement organizations from across Indiana to find comprehensive solutions to Indiana's drug and substance abuse crisis. Josh intends to partner with other organizations to accomplish that mission here in his hometown.

While working full-time serving Hoosiers by day, Josh has also been pursuing his law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis by night. He is a lifelong learner who is committed to relentlessly improving himself, his community and the future of Greensburg.

Josh has never been afraid to work hard and is committed to earning your support. He is dedicated to this community, its citizens and the future. Josh Marsh has a vision for Preserving our Heritage while Investing in Our Future.
