Asbury has a wonderful opportunity to help our kids get to church camp! Why is church camp so important to our children and youth? Attending church camp get kids out of their everyday routine. It encourages children and youth to get away from daily distractions and allow them the opportunity to hear what God is saying to them! Church camp gives them a safe place to learn and grow in their walk with Christ. Plus it’s fun! Clean air, outside activities, and making new friends, what a blessing for our children!
Church camp is a life changing experience! In 2018 alone, 867 elementary, middle school, and high school students made the decision to follow Christ at one of our seven Indiana Conference Church Camps. 341 answered the call to ministry! Wow!!! Sending OUR children and youth to camp matters!
Our goal at Asbury is to make church camp affordable for every family. The cost for attending church after the INUMC scholarship is still approximately $450 for a week at camp. We would love for camp to cost each family no more than $125 out of pocket per camper, better yet, we would love to be able to provide a 100% scholarship for all of our Asbury children who would like to attend camp.
There are a few ways you can give to the camping scholarship:
You can mail a check to Asbury, 1751 27th Street, Columbus, IN 47201 (add to memo line Camp Scholarship)
During tithes and offerings (add memo line, Camp Scholarship)
Drop off to Jennifer at the church office (Monday – Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm)
