Indiana University-East Athletics recently issued the following announcement.
The Indiana University East tennis teams open the fall portions of their season Sept. 4 with home matches against Wittenberg University.
First serves are scheduled for 11:45 a.m. at the Kyle Tom Courts at Glen Miller Park. The match time was moved up due to a chance of late-afternoon showers in Richmond.

The Kyle Tom Courts are located in the heart of Glen Miller Park, GPS address 2200 East Main Street in Richmond.

IU East's tennis teams play a short fall season in preparation for the conference championship season in the spring.
*The IU East women were 13-9 last season, won the River States Conference regular season and postseason titles for the first time, and made the program's first appearance at the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship. Eleven players return from the 2020-21 roster.
The IU East men were 11-11 last season and reached the RSC Championship title match for the first time. Nine players return from the 2020-21 roster.
The IU East men seek their first win against Wittenberg. The Red Wolf women last defeated Wittenberg in 2013.
This is the fall opener for both Wittenberg teams. The Tiger men were 5-7 last year. The Wittenberg women were 2-5.
