The Indiana University East women's tennis team enjoyed success in the doubles brackets at the ITA Midwest Regional on Sept. 30.
The Red Wolf duo of Amonette Theron and Eva Caballero knocked out the No. 8 seed to reach the quarterfinals of the 32-team women's doubles bracket before bowing out against the No. 1 seed from tournament host Indiana Wesleyan University.
Nora Ribeiro and Regan Mellinger won back-to-back-to-back matches to claim the women's doubles "B" draw consolation bracket title.
Linda Marino and Camila Caballero are in the women's doubles "A" draw consolation semifinals.
Camila Caballero, Eva Caballero and Mellinger are still alive in the women's singles consolation quarterfinals.
Play resumes at 9 a.m. on Oct. 1.
