Indiana University-East issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.

The early-season grades are in, and it's a perfect 4-0 for the Indiana University East women's basketball team.

The Red Wolves maintained their unbeaten start with a 90-59 win against the University of Michigan-Dearborn on Nov. 6 in the final game of the First Bank Richmond Classic.

IU East went 2-0 at its home event for the first time since 2017. Michigan-Dearborn fell to 1-4.

Kami McEldowney and Addie Brown scored 21 points apiece for the Red Wolves. Bethany Mackin added 15.

"We were really excited about this weekend," Brown said. "We wanted to be 4-0 to start, and that's a great way to start. We stuck to the game plan and worked really hard and played as a team, and it was really fun this weekend."

IU East limited the Wolverines to a .214 shooting percentage from 3-point range and a .328 shooting percentage overall. The Red Wolves shared the ball on offense to the tune of 19 assists on 30 field goals.
