Maggie Bischoff from Noblesville (Ind.) High School has signed a letter of intent to play women's soccer at Indiana University East starting with the 2022 season.
Red Wolves coach Shane Meridith made the announcement on July 20.
"I love the campus, the location and faculty," Bischoff wrote of her decision to join the women's soccer program. "Everyone I met was so helpful and inviting."
In addition to her time with the Millers, Bischoff played for the FC Pride Soccer Club in Indianapolis.
"Maggie has been a part of FC Pride for a long time and has always been a solid midfielder with a solid technical skillset and a very good range of passing," said Jamie Gilbert, who is the Director of FC Pride. "She has a very good understanding of the game this has helped her become a key player on the teams she has played on at the club."
Maggie is the daughter of Matt and Melissa Bischoff.
"The small school environment that is a part of a major university that has my study program of Elementary Education is a perfect fit," Bischoff continued. "I love that the soccer coach believes in me and invited me to be a part of of his team. I can see myself doing well here in the next chapter of my life."
Bischoff is another member of the 2022 IU East women's soccer recruiting class to be announced.
IU East is an NAIA program. The Red Wolves have won the River States Conference Tournament twice and as a result reached the NAIA National Championships in 2019 and 2020-21.
