Camryn Brewer of Franklin County (Ind.) High School has signed a letter of intent to play women's golf at Indiana University East starting with the 2022-23 season.
Red Wolves coach Billy Mullin made the announcement on August 4.
"I'm really excited to work with Camryn," Mullin said. "She fits the profile of previous golfers who have been successful here at IU East. She had a successful high school career in both golf and softball. She brings a strong academic and athletic resume to IU East."
Brewer was the Most Valuable Player for Franklin County as a senior leading the squad with the lowest putting average. She was named the Most Improved Player for the Wildcats as a sophomore and junior. During her senior year, she was second in the Eastern Indiana Conference Meet.
Camryn is the daughter of Earl and Kristen Brewer with plans of majoring in Business Administration.
"There are so many great opportunities and people," Brewer said of her decision to join the Red Wolves. "It felt meant to be and I'm so excited to see what the future holds."
Brewer joins the IU East recruiting class for 2022.
IU East is an NAIA program. The Red Wolves qualified as a team for the NAIA National Championships after winning the River States Conference Championship in the spring of 2022.
