Facts and figures to get you ready for the sixth Indiana University East women's soccer season.
WHAT HAPPENED LAST YEAR?
Record: 11-7-1. It was the fourth straight season with at least 11 victories in the five-year history of the program. Over those four seasons, the Red Wolves are 47-19-9.
Conference: 8-2-1. IU East finished third during the regular season in the River States Conference. The Red Wolves won 3-0 over Oakland City University in the quarterfinals of the RSC Championships before falling to the University of Rio Grande in the semifinal round.
RED WOLVES IN THE RANKINGS
2nd - IU East received four first-place votes and 93 points in the RSC women's soccer preseason poll as the University Rio Grande led the way with 96 points and seven votes for the top spot.
QUOTABLE

BY THE NUMBERS
3 - Returning all-conference performers from 2021. Kimberly Trapp and Sophie Pohlabel were members of the All-RSC First Team, while Grace Harris was on the second squad.
3 - Number of game-winning goals last season by Pohlabel and Shelby O'Leary. Among the other returnees, Trapp had two with Tori Martino and Abbie Watson adding one each.
6 - Pohlabel topped the Red Wolves with six assists last year. Combined with her four goals she finished with 14 points.
8 - O'Leary was second on the team with eight goals in 2021 and added an assist for 17 points.
27 - Trapp finished third in the conference with 27 points. She led the Red Wolves with 11 goals, while contributing five assists.
MATCHES TO WATCH
Aug. 20 at Mount Vernon Nazarene - The season opener for the Red Wolves. It is the first time these two teams have met. The Cougars finished 8-9-1 last season with a 4-4-1 mark in the Crossroads League.
Aug. 24 vs. Bethel University - IU East's home opener at Centerville High School. The Red Wolves defeated the Pilots 1-0 last fall as Pohlabel scored the goal with an assist from Jordan Miller.
Sept. 29 vs. Rio Grande - The Red Wolves entertain the RSC preseason favorite RedStorm at Eaton (Ohio) High School. Rio Grande leads the all-time series against IU East 4-3 after the RedStorm posted a pair of 1-0 victories last season.
