Recently named RSC Golfer of the Week, Jake Miller, shot a 3-under 69 in the last round of the Player Club Invitational on Tuesday as the Red Wolves concluded the invite in eighth place.
Miller finished 5-under in the invite, four shots behind winner Ivan Ninkovic from Lindsey Wilson. Sam Firebaugh improved his position from Monday, shooting a final round 69 to move up 18 spots to 24th overall. Austin Shelley also improved in his final round, shooting a 75 to finish in 50th place. Emiliano Tercero and Sam Roberts tied for 62nd. Alex Beatty rounded out the Red Wolves with an 86 in the final round and finished in 77th.
As a team, the Red Wolves finished in eighth place with a +43, two shots behind Holy Cross. Lindsey Wilson finished as a team even par and won the event by seven shots over Taylor University.
IUE will be close to home in their next event. They will travel to Earlham College for an event on Saturday and Sunday.
