Summer Hendershot is the latest recruit to sign and further her career as a student-athlete for the Kim McConaha and the IU East volleyball program.
"Summer will be a great addition to our team," Assistant Coach Cali Topolski said. "She has the competitive nature we are looking for and will not let a ball hit the floor. She will literally run through a wall. At the signing she had a great support system and we know that she and her gamily will fit in perfectly with our program."
Hendershot, from Carroll High School, helped the team finish with a 31-3 record. The libero/defensive specialist averaged 2.4 digs per set.
