The Indiana University East men's basketball team picked up its third win in a row with a 99-84 victory at Ohio Christian University on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

IU East is now 12-9 overall and 6-5 in the River States Conference, while Ohio Christian is 9-12 and 5-7.

The contest was tight in the opening period as both teams held small leads before IU East scored seven straight points to grab a 36-30 with 4:27 remaining in the first half.

The Trailblazers fought back to tie it, but the Red Wolves were able to hold a 42-40 edge by the intermission.

In the second half, IU East worked its way to a 55-46 lead after Billups drilled a 3-pointer at the 15:04 mark.

Over the next five minutes, Ohio Christian closed the gap to 65-63 with 10:03 remaining. However, from that point the Red Wolves built a double-digit advantage to take control of the contest.
