U.S. Congressman Greg Pence (R-IN) today issued a statement in response to President Biden’s recent executive order on border control.

“Merely months before the election, this administration has finally woken up and realized what we all knew: the crisis at our southern border is far out of control," said Pence. "For three and a half years, Joe Biden’s open border policies have invited crime, illegal drugs, and chaos into our country. Now President Biden pretends that he’s ready to act, but this announcement is not enough."

Pence criticized the executive order as insufficient, stating, "This executive order is disguised as a band-aid solution for a wide-open border, but in reality, it formalizes the Biden administration’s policy of allowing millions of unvetted illegal aliens to pour into our country."

He concluded by questioning the president's commitment to addressing border issues: "If the president cared about this issue and the safety of the American people, he would have quit playing politics and taken real action a long time ago.”
