U.S. Congressman Greg Pence (R-IN) released a statement today following his vote in support of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

"One of our most fundamental rights as U.S. citizens is the right to vote in federal elections," Pence stated. "Letting illegal immigrants vote should not even be a question, and I joined my colleagues in voting yes to ensure that privilege stays with the American people alone."
