On Saturday, March 22, former Columbus North High School standout Sam King’s current collegiate team the Purdue Boilermakers won 76-62 against the McNeese State Cowboys in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the McNeese State Cowboys during the championship.

Sam King’s hometown is Columbus and game position is forward.
