On Saturday, March 22, former Brownstown Central High School standout Jack Benter’s current collegiate team the Purdue Boilermakers won 76-62 against the McNeese State Cowboys in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the McNeese State Cowboys during the championship.

Jack Benter’s hometown is Brownstown and game position is guard.
