Columbus East High School standouts Chase Zapfe and Evan Balzer’s college team lost in NCAA Division III baseball game on Sunday, April 13

Evan Balzer and Chase Zapfe

On Sunday, April 13, former Columbus East High School standouts Chase Zapfe and Evan Balzer’s current college team, the Franklin Grizzlies, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers.

The game took place at Art Nehf Field. This was their second matchup against the Fightin' Engineers this season.

The Grizzlies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 12 p.m. at John P. McDowell Field against Anderson Ravens.
